The 3rd Delegate Prosecutor at the Supreme Court brought charges against former councilor in Bogotá, Wilson Hernando Duarte Robayo, before the 27th Municipal Criminal Court in Bogota for the offenses of extortion with series of similar crimes.
The prosecutor in the case stated during the hearing that Duarte Robayo working as a councilor from 2008 to 2011 would have received from the former Health Secretary, Héctor Zambrano Rodríguez, $80 million pesos regarding contract 1229 related to the purchase of ambulances for Bogotá in the amount of $ 67 billion pesos.
