A preventive detention order was issued against two Police Officers for an extortion offense

The 10^th Municipal Criminal Court in Medellin, with supervisory functions issued a preventive detention order with home confinement and an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet against a Metropolitan Police Officer in Medellin, Mauricio Ledesma Contreras and a patrolman Jorge Mauricio Quiroz Higuita since they demanded money of a transporter in order to authorize him a free circulation of his vehicles between the departments of Antioquia and Chocó.
