The Third Criminal Court in Popayan with supervisory functions sent to prison the forest engineer Miguel Ángel Álvarez Chávez who worked on the Regional Corporation of Cauca (CRC in spanish) and Parménides Montero, manager of the mine located at San Antonio and El Palmar de Santander de Quilichao (Cauca) rural areas as on 30 April there was an avalanche that killed twelve people.
