The Attorney General Office charged a patrol officer and relatives of victims with kidnapping, disappearance and theft offenses

A Specialized Prosecutor (on Anti-kidnapping issues) from Gaula Unit in Villavicencio brought charges against seven people before a supervisory judge concerning the kidnapping of the cattle breeder María Eloísa Marentes Mesa and her partner Wilson Jersay Rodríguez Velásquez who disappeared on February 2014.
