A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued against a criminal organization engaged in extortions in Cundinamarca

A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued by a supervisory judge in Bogotá against Wilson Guzmán Quintero,  Nelly Rocha Pérez and Hower Alexis Cadenas Toro alleged members of a criminal gang engaged in extorting businessman and moneylenders by using the mechanisms of “vacunas”  and “gota-gota” or “paga diario” *.

*Vacunas, gota-gota or paga diario: mechanisms of extortion used by criminal organizations and terrorist groups, among others, in order to obtain money from people.
