The Unit for Protection of Intellectual Property from the Attorney General Office requested through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the repatriation of 691 pieces from the national archaeological heritage to Colombia.

These pieces were returned to Museo de America in Madrid. This organism has been in charge of the custody of the pieces since the moment they were seized. During the formal ceremony participated Fernando Carrillo, Colombia’s ambassador in Spain, and Eusebio Fragua, chief of police of Spain.
