A preventive detention order with imprisonment was issued against the alleged suspects of a patrol officer murder

At request of the Attorney General Office, a supervisory judge issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment against three individuals who allegedly murdered the patrol officer Ericka Olivera Vega and injured another officer when they tried to avoid the kidnapping of Jaime Andres Fonseca, the Mayor´s son in Girón (Santander).

The offenses attributed by the Attorney General Office were aggravated murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, firearms possession and shoot against a car while moving. The alleged offenders did not accept the charges.
