On June 18 and 19, as a result of judicial inspections conducted by the National Directorate of Analysis and Contexts belonging to the Attorney General Office at the officially dissolved Administrative Department of Security DAS, it was discovered that a part of the files regarding the case of DAS wiretappings on the journalist Claudia Julieta Duque disappeared.

The information was related to the monitoring of journalists, human rights defenders and civil servants, including the mentioned journalist.

Among the people linked to this investigation are Hugo Daniel Ortíz, Carlos Alberto Arsayus, José Miguel Narváez Martínez, Jorge Armando Rubiano, Enrique Alberto Ariza, Rodolfo Medina Alemán and Giancarlo Auque de Silvestri, all under the direction of Jorge Aurelio Noguera Cotes who was  condemned for having links with the Self Defence Forces of Colombia self-defense and for the murder of Professor Alfredo Correa de Andreis. These people exercised senior  positions at the National Directorate of Intelligence.

The Attorney General Office has clarified that the loss of this information does not affect the investigation since it had already been secured, however a copy has been notarized in order to investigate and establish the responsible for this fact.
