The Second Criminal Court of the Specialized Circuit of Antioquia sentenced the lawyer Carlos Alberto Foronda Blanco, also known as El Doctor or Foronda, to 40 years and 6 months in prison as he murdered the couple Fredy Alexánder González Acuña and Mónica Marcela Castañeda Olivares.
