First decision pronounced against María Ramón Isaza Arango and four senior commanders from AUC

On June 18,  at 3:00 p.m, the Justice and Peace Chamber of the High Court in Bogota will read the verdict of guilty against Ramón María Isaza Arango, alias El Viejo, former commander of the Peasant Self-Defense Forces of Magdalena Medio (ACMM).

Likewise, it  will be announced the decision taken against Oliverio Isaza Gómez, alias Terror or Rubén, Héroes del Prodigio Front  former commander ; Luís Eduardo Zuluaga Arcila, alias Mc Gyver, José Luis Zuluaga Front former commander  ; Walter Ochoa Guisao o Walter Ignacio Lastra García, alias Gurre,

Omar Isaza Front  former commander  and Jhon Fredy Gallo Bedoya, alias Pájaro, Celestino Mantilla Front  former commander.

The sentence will be pronounced due to 100 offenses that left more than 300 victims. These victims were heard in Bogota and  Mariquita (Tolima ) to  identify the damages caused.

Likewise, this decision reflects the conclusions of the thematic hearing on Training Schools and the politic-military training in the eighties where Yair Klein (in  Jerusalem) and former commanders such as: alias Botalón, alias Ponzoña, alias Ernesto Báez, alias Mono Leche and  alias el Águila participated.
