A Supervisory Judge brought charges against 20 postulados* who belonged to Fronteras and Tibú Fronts from the AUC Catatumbo Block.

This decision was based on the criminal conducts stated at the legal decision pronounced on September 12, 2010 regarding Jorge Ivan Laverde zapata, alias El Iguano, in which it was determined that as commander of the United Self Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) Fronteras Front, he fought against natural enemy, carried out social cleansing and intimidated  the population.

A judge in the city of Bucaramanga issued an arrest warrant against Ciro Alfonso Trespalacios, commander of Catatumbo Block and Sebastian Alexander Vergara Jarupia, commander of squad who are included in  the list of 20 postulados. They will take responsibility for the crimes of conspiracy, forced disappearance, homicide, forced displacement and exactions which involve more than 500 victims and 150 facts.

*Postulados: demovilized members of illegal armed groups who postulated to obtain a benefit from the Justice and Peace Law.
