The Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Prosecutor captured 32 people being caught in flagrante delicto in the commission of crimes against the suffrage in twelve regions of the country.
The crimes committed by these people are spoofing identity, corruption to the voters and fraud to the voters, illegal possession of weapons and concealment, retention and possession of identity cards. These events occurred in Bogotá, Arauca, Cali, Cartagena, Cúcuta, Cundinamarca, Ibague, Medellin, Neiva, Pasto, Riohacha and Valledupar.
Also the Prosecutor’s Office received directly eleven complaints for crimes against suffrage in Bogotá, Cali, Ibagué, Pereira, Santa Marta and Tunja, for behaviors as fraud to registration of certificates, impersonation of citizen, fraudulent voting, proselytizing, concealment, and document retention, threats, fraud to the voters, personal misrepresentation and falsehood by impersonation.
During elections, 114 catches were also presented by the CTI as a result of arrest warrants for determination of the judges of the Republic and 37 minutes of survival for in which it appeared people contained in the lists of missing persons of the country.
