The Attorney General Eduardo Montealegre Lynett said that for the case that demand the recall of the mayor of Bogota Gustavo Petro, the Prosecutor reunited all the research that exists against them and they were assumed by the General Deputy Attorney Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres.
“The Lord Mayor of Bogota will be called again to interrogation with the aim that I broadened some points. “The prosecution has some concerns about his performances and we want it to tell us certain topics about which we have some doubts and in 15 days will be called to action of interrogation”.
Montealegre Lynett was emphatic when referring to the performance of the Organization in this process. “The Office of the Attorney-General has acted with total transparency and autonomy in this case. “Last year as Attorney General I made a public accusation that I saw with great concern statements of some very important witnesses in the recruitment poster that wanted it was to sow doubt with the Prosecutor General of the nation in order to hinder the processes”.
The prosecutor added that the supposed letter sent to the prosecution never nor the witness so “categorically said that if there were some expressions of any misconduct witness for the prosecution, had to go to testify under oath and assume all liability for false information.
