Before the Third Municipal Criminal Court of Medellín (Antioquia), with control function guarantees, eight gunmen of the Integrated Drug Trafficking Organization (Odin) The Mondongueros at the service of the so-called Envigado Office, accepted the charges that the Attorney imputed for 30 aggravated murder and 21 attempted murders. All were concerned with security measures at prison.
Among the crimes committed in the metropolitan area of Medellín between January and December 2010, include the slaughter committed on July 2, 2010 in the Guru bar in Envigado where 8 people were killed and another 16 other wounds, after several men entered the establishment firing indiscriminately.
The defendants who pay convictions for the offence of concert to commit a crime aggravated, also charged the execution of Luis Esteban Castro Vélez, alias the dwarf, who was part of the organization led by Maximiliano Bonilla Orozco, alias Valenciano.
Most of the victims, according to the established, belonged to the criminal structure of Ericson Vargas Cardona, alias Sebastian.
The Attorney’s Office established that the murders and attempts to murder were perpetrated in Medellin, Envigado, Bello and Guarne, Antioquia municipalities by the territorial dispute between the heads of the Office, alias Valenciano and Sebastian.
Within the insured stands Chief of assassins of the criminal gang commanding by alias Valenciano, Juan Camilo Rivera, alias Camilo, signed for its alleged involvement in the Commission of 27 aggravated homicide and 18 attempted murders.
The other defendants were identified as: Jhon Fredy Rivera, brother of alias Camilo; David Zuleta Alvarez, Jaiver Alonso Zapata, Jhon Fredy Morales, Ricardo Cataño Urrego, Walter sierra Zuleta and Edwin Morales Franco, alias pollo, who attributed 26 aggravated homicide.
They are currently detained in a penitentiary center in Medellin for the offences of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, weapons possession for private armed forces use and carrying of weapons of self-defense.
