The Deputy Attorney General, Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres, announced two new charges by the embezzlement at the National Direction of Narcotics (DNE), which will take place on December 5 and 12.
The first relates to Mr. Leo Gottlieb Eisenbad, legal representative of the company Eilat, who had acquired irregularly, at a bargain price Villa Country Mall, in Barranquila city. On these facts, the Attorney Office fall charges for the crime of embezzlement.
Will be also investigated the current official of the DNE, Publio Melo, who acted as auditor for the time of the facts. He was in charge of auditing sales which were carried out and in common agreement with some managers who are now prosecuted, allegedly received money for not audit the sales contracts that were made in the entity.
In this year 2013, 39 people have formally linked by DNE scandal.
