The Attorney General of Nation, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, publicly asked the Comptroller General of the Republic, Sandra Morelli Rico, to explain to the country why he designed a lie against the ethical behavior of the Attorney General, regarding the high official complaint in which he stated that the prosecutor even after being named received consulting fees related to Saludcoop Group.
“It is a lie as big as the size of a cathedral, I’ve ever received, as Attorney General, Saludcoop money,” said the Attorney General.
The public statement of the Attorney General took place in Cartagena, where is the first International Congress of Attorney strengthening for transitional justice.
The Attorney General said that “the last payment they did to me as a lawyer was a year before my tenure as Attorney General of the Nation. The Comptroller lady said that I have to explain to the country why being Attorney General, as I kept getting Saludcoop money, hundreds of millions of pesos says Mrs. Comptroller in their complaint and asks me explain. I have already sufficiently demonstrated to the country that is a statement that does not correspond to the truth so I go for the explanations she asks me, she missed the truth with the complaint she filed with the Accusation Commission of the House of Representatives.
For this reason, the Attorney General noted, “now I am who requests explanations, the explanation that I respectfully ask the General Comptroller of the Republic, Sandra Morelli Rico, is she explain to the country why reason was to design a huge lie against my ethical behavior as Attorney General of Nation saying that I still Attorney had received money from Saludcoop.”
“I want to ask Mrs. Comptroller assume their responsibilities to the big lie that she told to the Accusations Commission,” he said.
