The Israeli government, in cooperation with the Attorney General of Nation, trained CTI officials and Office of Protection and Assistance people in counterterrorism techniques, security, self defense and combat.
The training was led by Colonel Yaron Ben David, Israel’s liaison officer for Latin America and the special instructor, Major Saar Schon, in an intensive course that 15-day over 14 hours of work in handling of short and long weapons and vehicles.
The campaign is part of the policy of the Attorney General of the nation’s for international cooperation with friendly Governments in the fight against terrorism.
In turn, the CTI National Director Maritza Escobar, said it is a further step toward professionalization in deep techniques that will be at Attorney General service, the Vice- Attorney and the sectional directions.
“They have very advanced techniques, because by tradition and experience in military confrontations they make teaching experts against the violent” said the head of the Unit for Assistance and witnesses Protection , Jorge Eduardo Rojas Pinzón.
