The Attorney General of the Nation, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, filed with the Supreme Court an extension of his claim against the president of Investigation and accusation Commission of the House of Representatives, Constantino Rodriguez Calvo. The extension filed this October 29 consisted of attaching request presented by the Attorney General to revoke the Waiver of prosecution, issued by this Corporation in favor of three Superior Judicial Council Judges, for the case of so-called “carrusel de las pensiones.

In revocation request, the Attorney General of Nation demonstrated that there was no an integral research. In the letter showed that the decision basis of the investigation and accusation Commission was based essentially on the statements of those who were investigated, while ceased to take into account those evidence that eventually allowed to substantiate charges. In short: not deployed a real investigative activity.

Into the proofs that were assessed stopped, the Attorney General of Nation noted: (i) the accusation text and all its annexes formulated by the Attorney Office against the Secretary of the  jurisdictional disciplinary room of the Superior Council of the judiciary, (ii) various interviews of officials of the Superior Council of the judiciary which were those who discovered the inconsistencies, (iii) a letter sent by one of the judges of that Corporation and (iv) the interview that yielded the judge that the reporting of the facts presented to the Office of the Attorney-General.

Attorney Eduardo Montealegre Lynett said this corporation that comprehensive research duty is also ignored when not practicing the proofs directly by the investigation and accusation Commission, that allow to clarify the facts.
