Elba Alieth pulido Lozano, wife of the investigated general (r) Flavio Buitrago, was captured by the (CTI) of the prosecutor in the facilities of the research entity.
Pulido is linked to research being conducted into the alleged commission of illicit enrichment crime. A Laundering Unit prosecutor issued a security measure against women consisting of house arrest for having a minor child.
General (r) Flavio Buitrago, former security head of Alvaro Uribe when he was Colombian President, was captured on September 30 and is being investigated for alleged links with Marco Antonio Gil Garzón, alias El Papero, sentenced to six years in prison after accepting charges for money laundering, drug trafficking and illicit enrichment.
