The National Attorney Unit for Justice and peace carried out before the Bucaramanga Tribunal Magistrate, charges imputation hearing and assurance measure request against 37 postulates of the Bolivar Central Block of the (AUC).
There are 1200 criminal acts that are being charged to these people, among which are enforced disappearances, forced displacement, illegal recruitment, and homicides that occurred between 1998 and January 31, 2006.
The departments where perpetrated these criminal actions are Santander, Caquetá, Nariño, Risaralda and Bolivar South.
Among the postulates are the paramilitary former heads Ivan Roberto Duque Gaviria, alias Ernesto Baez, Rodrigo Pérez Alzate, alias Julian Bolivar, and Guillermo Pérez Alzate, alias Pablo Sevillano, who was extradited.
The principles involved in this hearing are being held in Florida state prisons in United States, and Itaguí (Antioquia), “La Picota” (Bogota), Barranquilla (Atlántico) and Espinal (Tolima) jails.
The hearing, which will last until November 6, is broadcast live in videoconference in the cities where they are deprived of the freedom the postulates.
