In relation to a complaint by the Comptroller General of the Republic, Sandra Morelli Rico, before investigation and accusation Commission of the Honorable Representatives House, which stated textually: “already in exercise as Attorney General, Mr Montealegre continued receiving fees” (page 7, in reference to Saludcoop Group), the Attorney General Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, allowed manifest:
(a) this claim is missing completely to the truth, and calls into question before the country and public opinion the honor and good name of the Attorney General of the nation; as such it constitutes a serious and disproportionate interference in my fundamental rights. The assertion made by the Comptroller General of the Republic causes me total indignation, not only by the nature of the statements, but also by the fact to come from this important office.
b) the Comptroller General of the Republic must submit immediately to the accusation and investigation commission of representatives House, the proofs that support this serious accusations.
