The Attorney office ensured that evidence exists to indicate that on the investigations for the subsidies that the government gave for (AIS) program, irregularly apparently, there was never a cooperation agreement between IICA and the Ministry of Agriculture on science and technology topics.

The affirmation of the accusing entity arises from the appeal decision, said criminal judge of Bogota circuit, which did not accept documentary evidence provided by the accusing entity in the process followed against three former officials of the cited Ministry at the time that the goverment of former president  Alvaro Uribe, gave allegedly illegal moneys for various beneficiaries.

The Criminal proceedings in which was presented this claim are being conducted against the former boss of MINAGRICULTURA legal office, Oscar Augusto Schroeder Muller, Tulia Eugenia Mendez Rojas and former ministry general Secretary Juan David Ortega.

The prosecutor in the case, in preliminary hearing, said the judge’s decision is wrong, because in the process showed everything about the 003 agreement between IICA and the Ministry of Agriculture, documents that demonstrate the absence of agreement on science and technology. The final decision will be taken by the Superior Court of Bogotá.
