36 human remains of guerrillas and paramilitaries victims, during the facts committed between 1993 and 2003, were handed over by the National Unit of Prosecutor’s offices for Justice and Peace to relatives in Medellin.

The victims include 31 men and five women between ages of 15 and 55 years old. In Antioquia were exhumed 27 remains, 4 in the Department of Chocó, 3 in the Department of Caldas, and others in Arauca, Meta, Bolívar and Norte de Santander.

The killings were committed by 34 and 47 FARC Fronts and Middle Magdalena, Miners, Central Bolivar and Cacique Nutibara AUC blocs. The victims’ full identity was established after a joint work of the Office of the Attorney General -Technical Investigation Team (CTI) and the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Colombia.
