Captures of 19 members linked to a network dedicated to scams using a buying and selling car dealers were made legal by the 63° Penal Municipal Judge in Bogota, acting as Supervisory Judge. The civil servant considered that the suspects were captured under the parameters of legality and observing the rules lay down by law.
The Individuals captured are Francisco Javier Arango Romero, Lucero Hurtado Giraldo, Johnny González Moreno, Julie Fernanda Rincón Ramirez, Cesar Augusto Archila Berrio, Oscar Mauricio Moreno Rojas, Sergio Andrés Zapata Urrego, Julie Patricia Iregui Galicia, Wilson Eugenio Riveros Malaver. Daniel Alejandro Buendía Trillos, Freddy Arturo González Parra, Nelson Camilo Gutiérrez Rivera, Elber Giovanny Jiménez, Sandra Bibiana Espinoza Melo, Jorge Alirio Moreno Gutiérrez, Pedro Nolasco Cárdenas Rodríguez, Héctor Orlando Guerrero Arévalo, Daniel Alejandro Suarez Falla and Fernando Guzmán Castañeda.
The Prosecutor in the case said that the members of this network had set up car dealers as facade through which vehicles were received to sale them in cities like Bogotá, Tunja, Sogamoso, in Boyacá, and Ocaña – Norte de Santander department.
During the hearing, the Supervisory Judge also made legal 6 searches, where the seizure of documents and the recovery of 88 trucks, as well as the immobilization of 78 motor vehicles were achieved.
