Three persons were caught in flagrante delicto, machinery and other components for counterfeiting were seized and COP 1350 million counterfeit were confiscated as a result of an operation conducted by the Technical Investigative Team (CTI) of the Office of the Attorney General of Colombia in Samper Mendoza neighborhood in Bogotá.
In the action, 4 lithography machines, a plate for burning and negatives with images of banknotes of five thousand and fifty thousand Colombian pesos, metal plates with the same banknotes, paint tins, printing sheets with images of different denominations banknotes and 1350 million counterfeit banknotes of 50 thousand and 5 thousand dollars were seized by CTI.
