After endorsing the preliminary agreement made between the Prosecutor’s Office and Wilfrido Bonilla Caceres’s defense counsel, the first Special Criminal Court of the Circuit in Buga (Valle del Cauca), sentenced Bonilla Caceres to 10 years, 8 months in prison and to pay 1,334 minimum legal monthly wages as a fine for aggravated manufacturing, trafficking or carrying narcotics.

Bonilla Caceres was apprehended in flagrante delicto along with two others, on November 19, 2011, when members of the national army during maritime duties in the Colombian Pacific cost, near Buenaventura port, they stopped a motor vessel, Corvina type, in which three crew members were moved and after the search, they seized 38 kilos and 897 grams of cocaine hydrochloride.

Based upon these facts, Yuber Valencia Alomina and Manuel Trinidad Perea Cortes are also accused for the same punishable act and they will appear at trial.

All the above-mentioned are deprived of liberty.
