The 36th Criminal Judge of the circuit of Bogotá sentenced Alfonso Delgadillo Murcia to 20 years and 10 months in prison  for the crime of homicide.

During the hearing, the Prosecutor in charge of  the case said that Delgadillo Murcia was accomplice  in the events that occurred on november 18th, 2012 in a public establishment at  24th avenue,  at 48th street  in the south of Bogota, where Julio Edgar Méndez Méndez  was shot in the head.

After the commission of the crime, the author escaped in a vehicle where the accused was expecting him. Some minutes later, they were arrested. The investigation allowed to establish that Delgadillo Murcia had become friend of the victim few days earlier in order  to facilitate the crime. The sentence will be served at La Modelo prison in Bogota.
