The 2 Criminal Court of the specialized Circuit of Villavicencio (Meta) set up a preparing hearing, in a virtual way, concerning the proceeding that is conducted against FARC leaders for the kidnapping of the former Governor of Meta Alan Jara.
The accusation is carrying out for the crimes of aggravated kidnapping for ransom and infringement of diplomatic immunity. Among those under investigation is Juvenal Ovidio Ricardo Palmera Pineda, alias Simon Trinidad, who is detained in Florence High penitentiary, State of Colorado (United States).
