CTI agents in Pasto city have captured Germán Nabor González Andrade, for whom an arrest warrant had been issued for homicide.

He was captured for the incident happened on July 12, 2012 in Caicedonia de Pasto neighborhood, where Johnier Anderson Valencia Gomajoa lost his life.

On September 3, 2012, by request of the public prosecutor in Pasto, the Third Criminal Municipal Judge, acting as Supervisory Judge, ordered the capture.

On November 10, last year, Gonzalez Andrade got in contact with the Attorney General’s Office and mentioned to have information about Colmenares case.

On November 13, he told a commission of prosecutors which had moved to Palmira – Valle del Cauca that he had in his possession security camera videos related to Colmenares case, but he never handed them on.

After fingerprint comparisons have been made in Bogota, the informant, hitherto seeking judicial benefits, was identified as Germán Nabor González Andrade for whom an arrest warrant had been issued for homicide.

Days later, the lawyer Jaime Granados reported him for extortion in connection with the Colmenares case.

Today a Supervisory Judge in Pasto legalized the Gonzalez Andrade’s capture, who also impersonates Fernando Germán Varela or Andrés González for the crime of homicide.

Now the Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing the case in order to charge him with a count of extortion based on the lawyer Jaime Granados’ report and with a count of perjury due to his videos offer.
