Colombia Attorney-General Office has precluded the investigation carried out against former member of the Valle del Cauca assembly, Sigifredo López Tobón, for the kidnapping of 12 members of this municipal corporation committed by Farc guerrilla group, on April 11, 2002.
Dr. Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, Colombian Attorney General, said that “it is completely proved that the former member of the assembly did not have to do with this fact”.
