By request of the prosecutor number nine assigned to the National Unit fighting against Terrorism, the 27 Municipal Judge in Bogotá, acting as Supervisory Judge, pronounced arrests legalization to an alleged responsible for the terrorist attack against former Home Minister Fernando Londoño Hoyos.
During a private hearing and before the 27 Municipal Penal Judge appeared the following suspects: Ulises Castellanos Beltrán, alias Apú, leader of the gang, César Augusto Ramírez Gómez, alias Bigotes (Moustaches), Nelson Eduardo Aguirre Castañeda, alias Chapulín and Fernando Collazos Aguirre, alias Fifí, who were pointed out by the Prosecutor number nine for his allegedly responsability in facts happened on May 15, 2012, when a Lapa bomb was exploded on a motor vehicle used by the former minister Londoño Hoyos and his bodyguards on 74 street and Caracas Avenue.
The explosion caused the death of the driver José Ricardo Ramírez Rodríguez and the National Police bodyguard Rosemberg Burbano Ramos. Also, former minister and another 74 persons were wounded.
During the accusation hearing the prosecutor will bring charges against defendants for the offenses of aggravated homicide, attempt of aggravate homicide, criminal association, terrorism, the use of minors in order to commite crimes, dealing, maufacturing and possesion of firearms and explosives, as well as, trafficking, manufacture and possesion of narcotics drugs.
Also, in this proceeding it was apprehended a minor, 17 years old, who is in custody by the competent authority.
