Penal Municipal Judges in Cali and Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca), acting as Supervisory Judges, imposed a remand in custody which was requested by Colombia Attorney General Office to four of alleged perpetrators of a terrorist attack against to an electrical infrastructure. This attack interrupted the service to Buenaventura port on the Pacific.

Search and registration formalities were held in Mono Salado and Cacoli villages, Buenaventura rural area, where authorities seized a rifle for sniper, five M-16 rifles, two AK-47 rifles, three pistols, a telescopic sight, a magazine and a communications radio. In this operation were killed the subversives known with the alias of El Indio and Harold.

Those captured were identified as: Janer Mao Narváez Castle, alias Ismael; William Fernando Angulo, alias Rene; Alberto Renteria Vallecilla, Diego and Clara Ines Vidal Tombe, alias Marcela.

In accordance with the Technical Investigation Unit, CTI, the present prosecuted form part of the urban front of the Farc “Manuel Cepeda Vargas”.

In preliminary hearings, judges legalized proceedings of search and registration, and captures.

Subsequently, Colombia Attorney General Office brought charges for rebellion against Vidal Tombe.

Likewise, Narvaez Castillo, Angulo and Rentería Vallecilla were attributed charges for the crimes of manufacture, trafficking and carrying of weapons of exclusive use of the armed forces and rebellion. With the exception of alias Marcela, others prosecuted were not agreed to accept charges.

By determination of the judges, the accused will fulfill remand in custody in Cali and Buenaventura prisons.

Finally, two minors detained in the investigation were put at the disposal of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, ICBF in Buenaventura
