After ten days of work, members of CTI- Special Group of Identification recovered bones remains belonging to six individuals buried in an illegal way in four towns of Putumayo Department.
Judicial procedures were ruled by a prosecutor assigned to the National Unit of Justice and Peace and were carried out in rural areas such as Puerto Asís, Puerto Caicedo, Valle del Guamuez y La Hormiga. During the procedure, judicial officials were supported by National Army.
Relevant analyses were carried out in CTI’s laboratory in Cali in order to ascertain full identity of recovered bones remains.
Finally, CTI reported the recovery of bones remains in a rural land close to the bank of Amaime River in El Cerrito area – Valle del Cauca Department.
