Evidences produced by Attorney General Office in trial hearing allowed to Fifth Judge in Pereira, acting as Presiding Judge, to announce the conviction judgment against Fernán Alejandro Jiménez Castaño, former Infrastructure Secretary in Risaralda Provincial Government, as responsible person to produce a forged professional certificate with a view to hold a position.
As established to the investigation carried out by Attorney General Office, the current convicted, who held the position between 2008 and 2010, committed the offence of forgery in public document, forgery in private document and procedural fraud when he took up his post confirming his profession as civil engineer by means of forged documents.
At the end of the hearing, the judge issued a warrant of arrest against the former official.
