Based on the evidence presented by the Office of the Attorney General, a judge sentenced a man who murdered his partner on June 25 in the El Diamante neighborhood Cimitarra (Santander) to 41 years in prison.
The convicted man was sentenced to aggravated femicide and attempted homicide.
On the day of the facts, the man, in the middle of an argument due to jealousy, attacked his 42-year-old partner with a sharp weapon.
The Office of the Attorney General proved that the woman tried to leave her home; however, the convicted man stood in her way and attacked her and her daughter. The victim died due to the severity of her injuries.
