During one of the home searches, more than 12 million COP which would be part of the profits derived from the criminal acts, were found

The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted six alleged members of the criminal group Los del Bar, involved in the sale, preparation of doses and sale of marijuana, bazuco and cocaine in Sibundoy (Putumayo).

The people involved are Carlos Andrés Jiménez Narváez, alias Ponky; Fredy Mauricio Criollo Bastidas, alias Cuy; José Darío Navarro Rozo, alias Panelo; Karol Andrey Luna Chaves, alias Karol; Ana Milena Torres, alias La Gorda and Lester Nilson Delgado Figueroa, alias La Vieja. The Office of the Attorney General charged them, according to their individual responsibility, with trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics; and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.

According to the investigation, these people apparently distributed drugs trough home deliveries to bars, nightclubs, educational institutions, residential areas and the main park of Sibundoy since January 2023.

‘Los del Bar’ were arrested by the National Police during home searches carried out in San Félix and Pablo Sexto, Centro, Fátima, Castelvi and Champaña neighborhoods of the municipality.

More than 12 million COP, firearms, cell phones and cocaine hydrochloride were seized in the operations.

Prison sentences were imposed to four of the defendants, while house arrest to Jiménez Narváez and Criollo Bastidas. The latter two pleaded guilty to the charges.

With this result, the Office of the Attorney General achieved the dismantling of this criminal network that was affecting the public safety in this area of ​​the country.
