At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a judge imposed a prison sentence on Lino Omar Fuenmayor González, who pleaded guilty to homicide and qualified theft, both aggravated.

According to the investigation, on November 26, in Guaviare, Fuenmayor González took a taxi and asked the driver to take him to Altos de San Jorge sector located in an unpopulated area, on the periphery of the city. He apparently injured him with a sharp weapon in an attempted robbery. The victim died at the scene.

This person was arrested by the National Police during a home search operation carried out at his home.
