The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted five women and one man, who would be part of the criminal group Los Solitarios, an illegal network involved in petty drug dealing in Porvenir neighborhood in Pitalito (Huila).
The people involved are Maira Alejandra and Maira Andrea Sánchez Bolaños, alias Las Gemelas; Deycy Alejandra Medina Jojoa, alias La Ecuatoriana; Diana Marcela Valencia Chicue, alias La Gorda; Lucila Chicue de Perdomo, alias La Abuela; and Darlan Daniel Betancourt Giron, alias Daniel; who were charged by the Office of the Attorney General, according to their possible level of responsibility, with trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics.
The criminal structure would be commanded by two sisters. The defendants, apparently, controlled the routes of distribution and commercialization of narcotics in sectors of the so-called comuna tres of Valle Laboyos.
According to the investigation, since August 2023 the drug trafficking network was selling doses of marijuana, bazuco and cocaine hydrochloride in small quantities, in urban areas of the town. In order to evade the authorities, ‘Los Solitarios’ concealed the narcotics in buildings, PVC tubes, trees, and even under stones.
The defendants were arrested by Sijin of the National Police during six home searches. In these operations, 350 doses of marijuana, bazuco and cocaine were seized, as well as cash, and elements to dose the drugs.
The judge imposed a prison sentence on four of the defendants. Alias La Abuela and La Gorda, mother and daughter (respectively), must serve house arrest. None pleaded guilty.
With this action, the Office of the Attorney General reduced the levels of insecurity that can emerge due to thefts and personal injuries, in addition to drug consumption in parks, sports venues and residential areas of the municipality.
