At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge legalized the detention of a 17-year-old teenager, allegedly involved in the murder of a barber, which occurred on August 26 in Álamos Norte neighborhood of the main city of Huila.
On the day of the facts, the victim was in a commercial establishment where he was working when he was attacked with a firearm, apparently, by the teenager. The injured barber was taken to a medical center, where he died two days later. For this reason, the Office of the Attorney General charged the teenager with aggravated homicide and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
The evidence showed that the teenager and another person fled on a motorcycle after committing the murder. The alleged attacker was arrested by the National Police during a search warrant carried out in a property in Las Palmas neighborhood, east area of Neiva.
The defendant did not plead guilty to charges brought against him by the Office of the Attorney General and a preventive detention measure was ordered against him by virtue of a judicial order.
