At the request of a prosecutor from the so-called Unidad de Vida of the Sectional Office in Medellín, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Luis Carlos Moreno Murillo, 40 years old, allegedly responsible for the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms. He did not plead guilty to the charges.

The facts took place on November 13, 2023 when a 31-year-old Venezuelan woman was attacked with a firearm, after having an argument with Moreno Murillo in the Villa Hermosa neighborhood in the main city of Antioquia. The victim and the alleged perpetrator lived in that sector, who in an act of intolerance allegedly shot the woman and her partner. The man was not injured.

Stiwar Yesith Córdoba Raga, alias Sombra, the woman’s neighbor, was prosecuted for the same facts. Judicial police work revealed that days before the crime, the foreigner woman and the alleged attackers had a misunderstanding because the deceased victim did not want to give them money, apparently, due to drug purchase.

The defendant was arrested by the National Police in Medellín by virtue of a court order.
