The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted a 31-year-old man for aggravated femicide and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition, and his alleged responsibility in the murder of his former partner.

The facts took place on August 6, in a residential area of ​​Sardinata (Norte de Santander), where the man allegedly attacked the woman with a firearm. The victim died due to the severity of her injuries.

This person was caught in fraganti by National Police in a hospital, where he arrived after colliding his vehicle with another vehicle and fleeing the scene.

This person did not plead guilty to the charges. The judge accepted the request made by a prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Norte de Santander and imposed a prison sentence.
