The victims were attacked in a commercial establishment in Sincelejo when they were defenseless.
The Attorney General’s Office charged Naiver Jesús Velázquez Nisperuza, alias Mongolia, an alleged hitman of the so-called Clan del Golfo who allegedly participated in a triple homicide on May 20, 2023, in Sincelejo (Sucre).
The facts took place in a public establishment in Uribe Uribe neighborhood of that municipality, in which ‘Mongolia’ allegedly arrived in a motorcycle driven by another possible member of the illegal armed group.
According to the investigation, both men allegedly entered the place where they repeatedly shot at a group of people. One of the victims tried to flee, but was reached by the defendant in a stream, where he sought shelter. Velázquez Nisperuza located him and shot him.
One of the victims died at the crime scene and other two people died in a hospital due to the severity of their injuries.
A prosecutor from the so-called Dirección de Apoyo Territorial (Support Office) charged the defendant with aggravated homicide; and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
