The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted a man and a woman for their alleged responsibility in the sale of drugs in Tuluá (Valle del Cauca).

The people involved are Jorge Iván Guarnizo Cardona and Magda Lorena Morales, who were caught by the authorities when they were selling drugs downtown the municipality.

During the search carried out in Guarnizo Cardona, 24 sachets of coca base and cash were seized. Likewise, Morales received 17 sachets and three plastic bags with the same substance.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged the arrested people with trafficking, manufacture or possession of drugs. They did not plead guilty to the charges

According to the judge’s decision, Guarnizo Cardona must serve a prison sentence, while Morales will continue to be linked to the process in freedom.
