Attorney General’s Office brought Jairo León Urrea before a judge for being the alleged perpetrator of the murder of a 76-year-old man.

The facts took place this March 29 in Los Naranjitos del Socorro neighborhood, (Santander), inside the victim’s room, apparently in a fight with the 24-year-old defendant.

The senior citizen was found with a strap around his neck and with a stab wound in his left arm.

León Urrea, a foreign national, was arrested on March 30 by members of the National Police on a public road in Socorro.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with homicide, and he was sent to prison.
