After approving the evidence presented by a prosecutor from the sectional Office in Chocó, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Weymar Andrés Moreno Abadía alias ‘Mello Kiper’ for his alleged responsibility in the homicide of a person.
The facts took place on July 25 in the Los Ángeles neighborhood in Condoto sector in the main city of Choco, when Moreno in the company of other people arrived where Yonatan Mosquera Murillo was and apparently, without saying a word, he shot him, wounding him in various parts of his body and killing him.
For these facts the 23-year-old defendant was charged with the crimes of aggravated homicide and aggravated possession of a firearm. Moreno did not plead guilty to the charges. The person under investigation was arrested by National Police on July 30 on a public road in the same neighborhood where the facts took place.
