The Office of the Attorney General  obtained a prison sentence against Duván Felipe Muñoz Valencia, 23 years old, and Jair Amaya Valencia, 21 years old, as alleged perpetrators of the murder of Wilson Esteban Gómez Naranjo.

According to the investigation, on February 23 of this year, National Police officers who were conducting a patrol in the urban area of the municipality of San Carlos, eastern Antioquia heard several shots in La Escombrera sector, and upon arriving at the scene, two men who were running in possession of firearms were arrested in flagrante delicto.

Minutes later, other Police officers found the victim with a gunshot in the lumbar region in San Carlos River, in the rural area of Peñoles. The 22-year-old man was taken to a hospital where he died due to the seriousness of the injury.
