José Albeiro Puentes Guaraca was sent to prison after being accused of being the alleged perpetrator of the homicide of a man in a commercial establishment in Campoalegre (Huila).
According to the facts, on July 5 of the previous year, in La Caraguaja neighborhood, the 26-year-old man apparently shot another person with a firearm several times, causing his death. Both were conversing in a pool hall in that municipality.
On January 20, CTI officers from Campoalegre (Huila), together with the National Army, arrested the defendant when he was riding a motorcycle in this municipality.
In the preliminary hearings, the Prosecutor’s Office charged Puentes Guaraca with aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
