The evidence collected by the Prosecutor’s Office allowed a judge in Cali to send seven alleged members of the Los Lleras gang to prison. They are allegedly involved in the sale of narcotics in Cali and North Cauca in the form of petty drug dealing.
The criminal organization had the Lleras Camargo neighborhood as its main distribution point, Comuna 20 in the west of this city and is holding an armed confrontation for control of the distribution routes with the La Cruz and Pueblo Joven gangs.
The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating an attempted homicide that occurred this year between these three criminal structures.
Emir David Hurtado Orozco, Fausto Muñoz Piedrahita, Elder Aldemar Moreno Sambrano, Freddy José Arteaga Cortez, Stella Zambrano Guacheta, Farlin Álvarez and Juan David Pérez Gómez were arrested during raids by SIJÍN members of the Metropolitan Police in coordination with a specialized prosecutor.
During the judicial proceedings, marijuana, 6 cell phones and $1,200,000 were seized, apparently from the sale of drugs.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with conspiracy to commit a crime, manufacture, trafficking and possession of narcotics, attempted murder and manufacture, trafficking and possession of firearms.
