Upon accepting the conclusive arguments presented by a prosecutor of the Sectional office in Magdalena, a judge issued a prison sentence against Osneider Rodelo Gómez for being the alleged responsible for the murder of Melibeth Yuliza Marchera, a member of the LGBT community.
Within the framework of the investigation, it was established that Rodelo Gómez was the person who shot the victim four times, apparently for having ended their relationship. The victim was allegedly killed in her house in the presence of his new partner.
According to the Judicial Police, the person implicated in the case run away in a motorcycle after the events took place, and then, he was arrested by the National Police.
For these facts, the Office of the Attorney General charged the defendant with aggravated femicide with multiple concurrent crimes and simultaneous with manufacturing, trafficking, possession of a firearm or ammunition for personal defense. He did not plead guilty to the charges.
The Office of the Attorney General of the Nation investigates the possible participation of other people in the facts.
