Under the coordination of a prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Directorate Bogotá, a special group of the Judicial Police officers from CTI, Sijín and Gaula, arrested a woman and her sentimental partner for the disappearance of the woman´s daughter, a 23-month-old girl, on January 28th in a neighborhood known as Patio Bonito in the city of Bogotá.
The investigation was prioritized in accordance with the guidelines defined by the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, to prosecute those responsible for actions that violate the integrity of children and adolescents.
According to the denunciation filed by the minor’s aunt, who was taking care of the girl, on January 28th the girl’s mother took her away and did not return her.
Due to these facts, the detainees will be brought before a judge to hold a hearing in which the Prosecutor’s Office will charge them with forced disappearance.
